Right now we are at CTIA Wireless 2010 in Las Vegas. Yesterday during the Mobile Web & Apps Worldforum we gave a presentation titled “Analyzing the Application Stores – Users, Apps, Growth and more”.

Next week, the CTIA Wireless conference will be held in Las Vegas. The International CTIA Wireless show is a worldwide wireless event that brings together the wireless and converged communications, wireless broadband, mobile web computing and data industries. This year will be the 25th edition of the event.
On the first day of the conference, Monday March 22, Distimo will present at the Mobile Web & Apps Worldforum. This part of the conference at CTIA Las Vegas will explore the commercial impact of the Apps strategy on the wider ecosystem.
Remco van den Elzen will give a presentation titled: “Analyzing the Application Stores – Users, Apps, Growth and more”
In this session, we will explore the mobile application store landscape in general and focus on valuable insights Distimo has gained from the major device stores: Apple App Store, BlackBerry App World, Google Android Market, Nokia Ovi Store, Palm App Catalog and Windows Marketplace for Mobile. Remco will share with you interesting statistics that have been gathered from these stores, not only on an individual app store level, but across all stores as well.
