BlackBerry App World now has support for Themes, with now over 150 content items available.
The Orange Application Shop was launched this week during the Le Web conference in Paris.
Samsung Bada applications are coming in the first half of 2010 and will very likely be distributed via the Samsung Application Store.
The Nokia Ovi Store is reaching close to 1 million downloads per day.

A small recap of this week’s apps store news:

Apple promoted a set of applications in the App Store during Black Friday. This promotion greatly influenced rankings and downloads of the featured applications.
Samsung is holding a launch event in London next week December 8, to kick-off Samsung Bada.
Handster, an independent app store for Windows Mobile, Symbian, Java, Android and BlackBerry, is added to our mobile app store overview.
BlackBerry App World now has Test Center, which enables developers to receive feedback on beta version of their applications.

The first Dell Smartphone, was launched in China with China Mobile.
The China Mobile Market now also contains applications for the Ophone platform, which is similar to Android, but custom made for China Mobile.

Apple sold 7.4 million iPhones in its 4th Quarter (ending Sept. 26), and since the App Store’s launch, 2 billion apps were downloaded

For developers, it is now possible to target applications per country and operator in the Android Market.
The LG Application Store was launched three months ago, it now contains 1,295 applications, of which over 90% paid content.
Acer is launching its first Android phone this year, with the new 1.6 version of the Android OS. The manufacturer is also releasing an Android based netbook.
The Brazilian operator TIM announced it will be launching an app store beginning next year, in cooperation with Qualcomm.
In-app purchase is now also available for free applications in the Apple App Store, which offer huge potential for developers that want to up-sell their apps.
