Flipboard (iTunes), the ‘personalized social magazine’ that was launched the day before yesterday (and officially ‘released’ July 21, 2010), is now the #1 News application in all 10 countries where the iPad is available. Of these ten countries, the new application is even the #1 Top Overall application in all countries except for Japan, where “オトコが進化する情報マガジン R25″ and TagDisk HD are ranked higher than Flipboard (#1 and #2 respectively).
Additionally, Fliboard is also ranked #1 Top Overall in eight out of nine countries where the iPad will launch this Friday: Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore. In Hong Kong, the application ranks #2.
