The Nokia Ovi Store has been live for three months. At its launch, 555 items were available in the store, of which 90% paid.
To see how the available content is developing, we are tracking all items in the store. We made an overview of the number of available content items since its launch:

Right now, 2,810 items are available. This is a growth of 30% over the last 6 weeks. The proportion paid content is pretty stable around the 90%, which was the case from the store launch.
The fastest growing area is Applications. During the last six weeks, the number of available apps grew over 40%.
These numbers do not get close to the Apple App Store yet, but are clearly growing. An increasing number of developer that have popular applications in other stores, are entering the Ovi Store, which definitely helps in providing compelling content to consumers. See for example Shazam and Shozu.
