Palm App Catalog is here

June 8th, 2009 by Vincent Hoogsteder

This weekend, Palm launched its new flagship phone, the Palm Pre. Like expected, the Palm App Catalog also went live in beta. Right now, there are 19 applications in there. These apps are all free. Palm will enable support for paid applications, but the details are yet undisclosed.

Developers that want to launch applications on the Palm Web OS can sign up here. As more developers launch apps on the Pre and the App Catalog gets out of beta, it will become clearer what the potential of this store is. We’ll keep you posted.

The Palm App Catalog is added to our mobile app store overview.
